Marcel Wanders

Marcel Wanders is één van de meest vooraanstaande en fantasievolle ontwerpers va n deze tijd. Hij studeerde in 1988 cum laude af aan de kunstacademie in Arnhem e n werd bekend door zijn Knotted Chair, die hij in 1996 voor Droog Design produce erde. Zijn faam strekt zich inmiddels uit over de hele wereld en hij ontwerpt vo or vooraanstaande designproducenten zoals B&B Italië, Moroso, Cappellini, Droog Design en Moooi, waar hij zowel art director als mede-eigenaar is. Daarnaast hee ft hij ook tal van architectuur- en interieurprojecten gedaan, van Amsterdam tot New York en van Dubai tot Jakarta. Zijn ontwerpen zijn veelvuldig onderscheiden en opgenomen in belangrijke museumcollecties en tentoonstellingen, zoals die va n het Moma in New York.
